Last month I was one of the hosts for The Fashion Happy Hour "Halloween Edition" event and of course I had to wear the appropriate attire for the occasion.
I love dressing up for halloween, but lately finding a cute and not-hoochy costume is getting harder and harder... don't you think?! That is why in the past 3 years I've DIYed my own costumes, it actually makes halloween a bit more exciting, plus you will be 100% sure that no one will be wearing the same.
I went for a ventriloquist doll this year and needless to say, halloween makeup is the key for this look! I focused on my face so I wouldn't have to worry about getting makeup on anything or anybody during the night endeavors. But... I was extremely tempted to put makeup on my arms and legs to make them look more doll-like.
Everything I wore was already on my closet, it's all about being a little creative and resourceful with what you have.
Give it a try next year, it doesn't require a lot of time just to be creative and a little crafty! Last year I was a fairy and the year before a sailor!
The event was a complete success! It was so much fun to create some Miami fall looks with our vendors, some scary halloween makeup and nails. Head over to FashionHappyHour.com for more details and pictures from that night.

Love & Kisses,
