Sunday was day number 3 of MBFW, most of the events were outdoors and cotton was calling my name. The black & white stripes and cut-offs made my pick clear, and yes! There's nothing more comfortable than a skater skirt!
I popped on a pair of tassel earrings and arm candy for a bright stroke of color, along with candy yum yum on my lips! I initially wore these delicate striped sandals but later on, I changed into wedges to comfortably walk from show to show.

On the last day of MBFW, with this pink neoprene suit in mind, I picked my outfit. A white mesh crop top and black harem pants. Neon pink statement earrings, that appeared to be my signature accessory for the week, and laser cut heels to connect the dots all the way up to the crop top.

SHOWS

6S3
The New Delhi born designer showed her different cultural influences in her designs. Tasseled macrame bags were my most liked item. See-through geometric prints, tribal hair and accessories delivered a very unique show.

BL5
"Inspired by the beautiful imperfections in nature, feathers in lush, dark colors, the effect of oil on water, and the textures of driftwood and shagreen" A very elegant and unique collection, different from most in this year's shows. The one of a kind oil prints were my definite pick.

CF6
This time the cover-ups got my full attention! To me, they stole the show. The breezy fabrics, gorgeous marble prints and color blocking tassel details, had my eyes shinning!

IN8
There was a lot going-on on the runway, but all of it was wonderful! Leather, fringe, macrame, tie-dye, animal print, geo-tribal prints... all transcribed into glorious maxis and "Queen of the tribe" bikinis! The most exotic show of this year and one of my favorites.

LM9
The "Mermaids" collection was filled with enchanting feminine designs. Very romantic pieces with lace detailing, her signature golden heart shape and new body jewelry, added a new charm to flowers and animal prints.

LU11
Macrame shows up again and it's beautiful. Low cut plunging bottoms got my attention, and obviously radiant colors and vivid prints were part of the charm.

MA12
80's high cut legs, triangle tops, leotards, and mesh for the craziest creations! A phenomenal display of "I'm comfortable in my own skin" bikinis rocked the night for sure. These 3 are on my wish list right now.

SB13
This Australian designs were "surfer girl meets glam girl" glamourous bikinis that you could perfectly surf in and later on wear as a crop top for dinner! Very cool.
And that 80's bikini up there, had to be one of my picks! I just remembered my mom wearing something just like it back in the day, and me thinking she was the emancipation of gymnastic Barbie!! Loved it!

AGC
The earthy details of this collection reminded me of the jungle, beautiful wild amazonian prints, colors and beading in very elegant cuts and glamorous bikinis.
