BEST OF MBFW SWIM I

Guys it's time for some MBFW SWIM 2015 recap. I'll be sharing with you my fashion week adventures in 3 different posts.
Each showing you my very own outfit picks, my favorite looks on the runway and the most representative trends seen in the shows I covered this time around. Lets get started then!

This year Mercedes Benz Fashion Week was exciting as ever! and Miami's weather... well as moody as it gets at its highest peak!!  Therefore my fashion choices were diverted by thoughts of rain, humidity and extreme heat. It all started well with my clothing choices, I was completely heat proof and proud of myself, but strange enough when it was time for shoes, I found a way to avoid my own advice and I picked cute over comfort. Thankfully, IPANEMA provided us with a pair of very comfy jellies that I switched into between shows! They were a definite life saver!

The night of the opening party & 10th year anniversary of MBFW SWIM, I was all smiles to just walk in my closet and grab my previously picked outfit. A low peplum off-white dress was the right pairing to a vintage necklace I've been wanting to wear for the longest time. I finished the look with a pair of laser cut sandals and red lipstick and clutch.

For day one of the shows, I picked a bubble leopard crop top, a ruffled skirt, red macrame flower earrings and arm candy, with my favorite pair of camel gladiators. Braiding my hair was the ultimate freeze fix, as always!

SHOWS

BB3
As sexy as it gets, these super hero-like corsets are my dream over-the-top outfit! A futuristic show of empowered models with fantastic vixen looks that made us want to be in their shoes.

DC4
This show was a charming overload of tribal prints, tribal hair and gold accessories. Unexpected but certainly welcomed, materials like tortoiseshell appeared in her designs.

F5
One of my very favorites, Francesca's Aillo “The Hanalei Dreams” collection was a dream for sure! The fabric weaving details, the sexy but comfortable cuts and some bohemian softness, had me drooling every minute of this show and eyeing possible purchases right on spot!

PP6
The designer was inspired by brazilian history and culture, combined with the never failing brazilian bikini-cut, they delivered some very interesting pieces.

WF7
As a vintage inspired brand, this show took us, 90s kids, all the way to amazing childhood memories! The uncontainable craving for high-waisted shinny leotards, barbie pink everything and junk food was high and rising! Just a wonderful collection.
